New app tweak in Cydia called Fake About Screen, allows you to set fake values for your ”About” (iPhone, iPod Touch) screen.

Note: In order to use Fake About Screen, Winterboard is required. You can find Winterboard in Cydia.

Launching Winterboard, scroll through the list, you should see Fake About (iPod), Fake About (iPhone), Edit Fake About. Select Edit Fake About, press the home button and allow your iDevice to respring. Once it’s back to home screen, press Settings.app, General, About and now edit to your liking.

Fake About Screen is useful for hiding your preserved baseband or when launching Genius Bar and making your iDevice looked like it’s been restored.
