Muswitch is a new Cydia tweak that brings music controls to the iOS App Switcher. This tweak places a Play/Pause, Forward and Rewind button right above the app previews in the App Switcher.
The tweak, once installed, just works. There are no options to configure, there’s not even an Enable/Disable switch. It also shows the artist and song name in the App Switcher.
After installation, launch any Music app to view the controls in the App Switcher. The tweak works as advertised and can sometimes come in handy.
To see album title, album art and other song information, swipe to the left on the music controls. Muswitch works great even in landscape mode and any Music app.
If you were looking for a tweak that brought music controls to the App Switcher view, then this is a good one. Remember, this tweak replaces the Favorite Contacts shortcuts, so if you want that, you shouldn’t install this.
Muswitch is available in Cydia’s BigBoss repo for free.
