A few months ago we reported that the developer of Mobile Notifier, Peter Hajas, was offered a job to work at Apple after his popular tweak MobileNotifier surpassed over 230,000 downloads.

It looks as though another developer has now been offered a job at Apple as well, and this time it is a developer who has made a huge impact on the Jailbreaking community – Comex.

Earlier today Comex tweeted that he will be starting an internship with Apple in the next couple of weeks.

Unless you have been hiding under a rock the last year or so I am sure you have heard the name Comex floating around. Comex was the developer behind JailbreakMe 2.0, JailbreakMe 3.0 and many other iOS 4 Jailbreaks. Comex has played a huge part in the Jailbreaking Community and while it will be a shame to see him leave, we congratulate Comex and wish him the best of luck in working with Apple.

Though it is unsure what division Comex will be working in, I am sure we can all guess where Comex’s skills will be used within Apple.
