During the course of the last few weeks, we have talked about tweaks such as TV Tube, that apply custom sleep transition effects to your iDevice. TV Tube in particular gave your iDevice the effect of an old tube styled TV, when you pressed the sleep button. However, due to the overwhelming number of demands, that the developer create another tweak to feature more sleep transition effects – Sleep FX was born. Sleep FX is a brand new tweak that contains 8 custom sleep transitions that can be applied to your iDevice such as Split Columns, Spin, Fade Tiles, Suck and many more. All of these transition effects are customizable in the settings.app, and can really add a lot of personality to your iDevice. Now while Sleep FX sounds like a very cool tweak, there is one aspect of the tweak that will turn a lot of people off. What is this aspect? Well the price… You see Sleep FX is going to cost you a whopping $4.99, which is very expensive for a Cydia tweak. However, if you think the pros of this tweak outweigh its cost, then you can find Sleep FX in the BigBoss repo.
Note: Sleep FX is only available on the iOS 4 firmware, and will not add any icons to your springboard.
