iH8Sn0w has just tweeted that a new version of Sn0wbreeze (version 2.8b1) was just released to Jailbreak the iOS 5.0b1 firmware. As only developers have access to the first beta of the iOS 5 firmware this updated version of Sn0wbreeze is only going to be useful for developers. This version of Sn0wbreeze will work with the following iDevices:

• iPhone 3GS
• iPhone 4 [GSM]
• iPhone 4 [CDMA]
• iPod Touch 3G
• iPod Touch 4
• iPad 1G

Note: This iOS 5.0b1 Jailbreak is tethered. Meaning that every time you reboot your iDevice you will need to run iBooty or a similar booting utility like RedSn0w. Additionally this version of Sn0wbreeze does NOT add afc2 or Hacktivate to prevent users from removing the UDID check after jailbreaking.
