Are you a fan of Yahoo’s new weather application Yah00! Weather? I mean come on, who isn’t! Well, a new Cydia tweak was released today called Yahoo! Weather Is Better that allows you to essentially replace the stock Weather application with the Yahoo! Weather app. With Yahoo! Weather Is Better installed you can configure it so whenever you click on the stock Weather app, the Yahoo! Weather app will be launched instead. It will also reroute the weather notification centre widget to open the Yahoo! Weather app.
Yahoo! Weather Is Better does have a settings panel in the Settings app, but the only options are to enable or disable the tweak, reroute the stock notification centre weather widget and reroute stock weather icon. I tested the tweak out on my iPhone 5 and it worked as advertised.
The only downfall to this tweak is that when making queries with Siri they will still be carried out in the stock Weather app. If the developer of this tweak could reroute Siri queries as well you could pretty much say goodbye to the stock Weather app completely.
