GrowlNotifier, MyAppsTracker, FILTH.FM And Doit – Task Manager Cydia Tweaks

December 2, 2011 by Jaden Easton-Ellett 1 Comment

GrowlNotifier: Send iOS Notifications To Your Computer

The GrowlNotifier Cydia tweak was released in the middle of November, and it allows you to send notifications such as new SMS messages to your Mac computer that has the Growl Notifications application installed on it. This is extremely useful if you either do not have your iOS Device near you at the time of receiving a new SMS message, for example, or if you prefer to be notified of news messages directly from your Mac computer for whatever reason. Additionally you will be glad to know that setting GrowlNotifier up on your Jailbroken iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad is extremely useful and can be done from the Settings.app.

You can find GrowlNotifier through the BigBoss repo for free. Let us know what you think of this tweak in the comments.

Doing Doit – Task Manager: iOS 5 Reminders.app Clone For iOS 4 iDevices And Above

If you have not updated to the iOS 5 firmware and are looking for a great Reminder Styled application for your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. You will be glad to know that a similar styled application has been recently released into Cydia called Doit – Task Manager. This application includes a very well designed interface, as well as useful features like push notifications, to remind you when tasks are overdue or upcoming.

The application includes the following features:

  • Quick multiple task entry
  • Repeating tasks
  • Timed tasks
  • Push notifications
  • Drag and drop sorting
  • Multiple ToDo management
  • High priority button
  • Note management
  • Quick switch between folders
  • Retina display ready

If you are interested in Doit – Task Manager you can find it through the BigBoss repo for free. Let us know what you think of this application.

MyAppsTracker: Track Your iOS Applications

MyAppsTracker is a free application available through Cydia that will provide information about the installed, deleted or available applications on your iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. This is useful if you would like an up-to-date list of applications currently installed on your iDevice, as well as a list of applications that you have deleted from your iDevice.

If you are interested in MyAppsTracker you can find it through the ModMyi repo for free. What’s your thoughts on the tweak? Let us know!

FILTH.FM: Stream 24 Hours Of DubStep For FREE

With the Filth.FM Cydia application you can stream 24 hours of dubstep straight to your iPhone and iPod Touch every day using your 3G or WiFi connection. For convenience there are numerous options to pick the quality of your stream; low quality stream for use when you have low signal, and a high quality stream for use when you are connected via WiFi or HiQ 3G. In case you were wondering, FILTH.FM is an internet radio station playing Dubstep, Grime and Drum and Bass. It showcases big artists and DJs every week.

Note: The application does add an icon to your SpringBoard, but does not have any configurable options through the Settings.app.

If you are interested in FILTH.FM you can find it through the BigBoss repo for free.
