It’s hardly been two weeks since the release of the Pangu jailbreak for iOS 8 and Apple have already patched the exploit. That was pretty quick. According to a member of the Pangu team, the recently released iOS 8.1.1 beta 1 patches an exploit used by the Pangu jailbreak.
Daniel_K4, who claims to be the member of the Pangu Team, posted on Weibo, that iOS 8.1.1 beta 1 has patched the exploit Pangu uses to jailbreak iOS 8. If that is true, it means that once Apple releases iOS 8.1.1, the Pangu jailbreak will no longer work.
Apple has released iOS 8.1.1 beta to developers. After our tests, it has patched the jailbreak exploit. Anyone who wish to jailbreak, please seize the chance to upgrade to iOS 8.1 and do so before Apple officially releases iOS 8.1.1.
The Pangu Team hasn’t given any confirmation for this, so we’re not entirely sure if this is true. They could have other exploits waiting, which could be used to get another jailbreak. If it happens to be true, then your only chance of enjoying a jailbreak is to do it before Apple releases iOS 8.1.1 to the public.
