ProSwitcher Coming Soon to iPad

ProSwitcher is a Palm-Pre style app switcher, that works in conjunction with Backgrounder, to manage your apps that are running in the background. It comes from developers Ryan Petrich and chpwn. Ryan has brought us great apps like Activator and Orbit, and chpwn has brought us Infiniboard and Infinidock. They have been working together on ProSwitcher for a while now. We have had it on the iPhone and iPod Touch, but it is coming to the iPad, very soon.

ProSwitcher 1.2 alpha 1 has been released to a few testers, before it’s official release, which shouldn’t be too long. This will be a free update to the current ProSwitcher 1.1. It is available in Cydia, for free.

This is what has been missing from the current multitasking experience on the iPad. It is running really smooth right now, even on the alpha phase. All the same features from the current version are on the iPad. Activator support let’s you set it up however you want. I set mine up, so I shake it to enter card view. You can swipe cards up to close the apps, along with many other features.

I made a quick demo video:
