How To: Jailbreak iPod Touch 4G/3G On iOS 4.1 Using Limera1n On Windows
This guide will show you how to jailbreak iPod Touch 4G/3G on iOS 4.1 using Limera1n on Windows.
NOTE: Follow our step by step guides below to jailbreak iPhone 4/3GS and iPad.

Step 1: Update your iPod Touch to the latest firmware (iOS 4.1).
Step 2: Download Limera1n for Windows here.
Step 3: Launch Limera1n.
Step 4: Connect your iPod Touch via USB cable to your PC.
Step 5: Click “Make it ra1n”.
Step 6: Limera1n will now put your iPod Touch into recovery mode.
Step 7: You will be prompted to hold down the “Home + Power” buttons.
Step 8: Wait a few seconds and release the “Power” button. Keep holding the “Home” button.
Step 9: Limera1n will now put your iPod Touch into DFU Mode (you’ll notice the Limera1n logo on the iPod Touch screen).
Step 10: A message will appear when Limera1n is done jailbreaking your iPod Touch: “geohot says: Enjoy your jailbroken iPhone”.
Step 11: Launch Limera1n app from your iPod Touch and install Cydia. Once Cydia is installed, reboot your iPod Touch and enjoy!
