According to a talk from Apple’s SVP of industrial design, and sculptor behind Apple’s most iconic products, Sir Jonathan Ive said at the British Business Embassy that he nearly scrapped the iPhone along with other potential products that were “good and competent, but not great.” That means that Apple scraps revolutionary ideas if it can’t [...]
An article appearing on CNN Money, on behalf of Fortune Magazine, compares Apple’s current CEO, Tim Cook, to Steve Jobs, Apple’s iconic co-founder. The writer, Adam Lashinsky, writes that Apple’s changed under Tim Cook’s leadership to be more corporate. It’s managed by a committee of MBA graduates instead of a closeknit group of artists and [...]
If anyone knows whether or not Apple will release an iPhone with a drastic redesign (such as a 4 inch screen), it would be Jonathan Ive. Ive is the lead designer behind Apple’s products, such as the MacBooks, the iMac and the iPhone. This morning The Telegraph published an interview with Ive, who is being [...]
