Now that the new iPad (iPad 3) has been released the rumor mill is once again back in full force about the next generation iPhone (iPhone 5) and the anticipated iOS 6.0 firmware. In fact, in the past two days we have told you the new iPhone may feature a 4.6-inch Retina display and will come with 4G LTE connectivity.
Now CultOfMac is even reporting the date the WWDC 2012 could take place on, where we will most likely see OS X Mountain Lion, iOS 6.0 and possibly even the iPhone 5 talked about. The WWDC 2012 could take place as early as June in San Francisco’s Moscone Center. This is the fruit companies favourite venue for the WWDC and the reason this has come to light is because of a mysterious “corporate meeting” that is book for one week starting June 11th via the Moscone Center events calendar.
If this “corporate meeting” is indeed Apple’s WWDC 2012 it would mean it would span from June 11th to June 15th. Obviously the question on everyone’s mind now is will Apple actually announce the next generation iPhone at the WWDC 2012 or hold off until a release further into the year like they did in 2011.
