In fact, we even received confirmation from iJailbreak readers Guy Vago and Raghav that iTunes iTunes was rolling out in Israel and India as well. Now the fruit company has confirmed the matter in a Press Release.
56 countries will be receiving access to the iTunes Store today and this includes Russia, Turkey, India and South Africa. Apple has stated that both local and international music from all the major labels and also thousands of independent labels will be available for purchase.
The ability to rent and purchase movies will also be coming to select countries such as Russia, Turkey, India and Indonesia. You can of course also expect iTunes Match and the App Store as well, with access to over 700,000 apps and counting.
