A New Concept Video Surfaces Of How iOS Could Be Extended With Dynamic Settings And More
We have been seeing quite a few concepts for how certain iOS functions could be handled from various designers and a lot of them are just screaming for someone to turn them into Cydia tweaks. Today we have been pointed to another concept by one of our readers by the likes of Andre Luis Morera that was actually uploaded to YouTube in September of last year.
Regardless of this being an old concept, I am sure there is a lot of people who haven’t seen it, myself including, which is why I wanted to share it with you guys. Essentially this concept involves three key areas: Quick Settings, Dynamic Settings and App Flow Multitasking.
- A customizable panel that features the most used settings from the Settings app. It can be accessed from the lockscreen and is handy for doing quick toggles of settings such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Dynamic Settings really is a neat idea that basically allows you to configure settings for an application that is running. The example given in the video is with Garageband and the individual was able to adjust settings on the fly.
App Flow Multitask
- This specific functionality combines with the agility of the default multitasking tray, and allows you to view what state the app was left in.
Those three key areas not only will increase your productivity, but were designed in a way that looks elegant and pleasing to the eye. You can take a look at the concept video below…
Some may argue that this is too complicated of a concept for Apple to implement into iOS natively, and I would tend to agree with you. However, this would make a great Cydia tweak and some of the functionality such as the re-designed Multitasking tray I can actually see Apple copying in some form in the near future.
