Apple has just seeded the third developer beta of iOS 8.0, more than a month after the official announcement at WWDC 2014. The last beta was released three weeks ago and brought some changes to the interface, updated apps, Notification Privacy options and other enhancements. iOS 8 beta 3 comes as an Over the Air update if you’re already running the developer version.
Registered developers can also download the beta from the iOS developer portal. iOS 8 beta 3 carries the build number 12a4318c and brings with it some new features and improvements to the interface. The new beta adds new wallpapers, a Toggle for Handoff feature and access to iCloud Drive.
Apple also released Mac OS X 10.10 Developer Preview 3 today with the build number 14A283o. If you’re a developer, you can download the update via the Mac App Store, or from Apple’s OS X developer portal.
We’re not sure what’s new in the latest beta of OS X Yosemite, but we’ll let you know as soon as we hear. Do let us know if you find something new. Alongside iOS 8 beta 3 and OS X Yosemite Developer Preview 3, Apple has seeded new versions of the Find My iPhone and Find My Friends app. There’s also a new Apple TV beta that should be available via your Apple TV.
