New Trojan Virus For Mac OS X: Flashback.C Version 2 [Disables Auto-Updates]
Awhile ago, there was a trojan called Flashback.c, which was a virus that sent your Mac’s details off to a 3rd party server.
Within the last week there have been several reports that Flashback.c has been resurrected (Flashback.c V2). This new virus, disables your security definition updates by deleting files necessary to update. Both 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and 10.7 (Lion) are vulnerable, but can be removed by following this tutorial from F-Secure.
