Earlier today Apple seeded the third Developer Preview of OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion to developers. We’ve not yet discovered what’s new with Developer Preview 3, but we will update you as soon as we do. Along with that, the company also released Xcode 4.4 Developer Preview 3 for Mountain Lion.

If you’ve already downloaded the latest Developer Preview of OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion you should get the Xcode 4.4 Developer Preview 3 as well. iOS and Mac app developers should’ve already downloaded this by now as it includes the SDK for Mountain Lion.

This is the complete Xcode developer toolset for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. It includes the Xcode IDE, iOS Simulator, and all required tools and frameworks for building OS X and iOS apps. Xcode 4.4 Developer Preview requires OS X Mountain Lion or OS X Lion.
