Apple has released Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion Developer Preview 2 today to developers that brings fourth some new functionality, bug fixes and even some new issues in itself. According to the changelog for OS X 10.8 there are still a lot of unfinished aspects to the new operating system set to debut this Summer. These range from various issues still present in Game Center, Airplay and the Notes app to problems with screen sharing.

As for new functionality in OS X 10.8 apparently reports are surfacing that there is a new security protocol that ensures you will need to grant applications access to your contacts. This is obviously a response to the numerous privacy issues raised last month with iOS applications being able to access your photos/contacts without your permission.
