Messages Beta For Mountain Lion OS X Released [Download Link]
On the back of Apple releasing OS X Mountain Lion, Apple has published a public Beta of Messages for Mac.

You can start an Messages conversation on your Mac and continue it on your iOS device, and even start a FaceTime video call and bring the conversation across devices. Messages also supports sending photos, videos, attachments, contacts, locations and it comes with built-in support for iMessage, AIM, Yahoo!, Google Talk and Jabber accounts. Upon installing Messages, iChat will be released, but all functionality remains.

- Start an iMessage conversation on your Mac and continue it on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch.

- Messages supports iMessage, AIM, Yahoo!, Google Talk, and Jabber accounts.
