Apple Shoots Short Video Entirely On iPhone 5s, Edited On Mac To Celebrate Mac’s 30th Anniversary

About a week ago Apple celebrated its 30th anniversary of the Mac. The company had limited edition T-shirts for store workers, skinned its website and even did an interview with ABC news.

Now it has been discovered that Apple was working on a secret project to represent 30 years of the Mac’s existence. On the 24th of January Apple spent the entire day making a short video which was filmed in 10 countries on 5 continents. This movie showcased various things people are doing with Apple products and was shot entirely on the iPhone 5s and then edited using a Mac.

The video, which is now on the company’s website, ensures viewers remember Apple’s promise to put technology in the hands of the people. A promise the company made 30 years ago.

Rather than traditional means of advertising the video, Apple has chose to spread it via the internet hoping it will go viral. Considering the Super Bowl was yesterday it is surprising that Apple didn’t splurge for an ad spot.
