A major Apple employee discount program was announced by Tim Cook in late January, and was said to take effect in June (this year). According to 9to5Mac this employee discount program has just come into effect and Apple employees can purchase a Mac computer with a $500 discount (excluding the Mac mini) and an iPad with a $250 discount. Don’t forget that Apple employees already get a 25% discount on top of what we have just mentioned.

In order for an Apple employee to take advantage of this new discount program they must of been employed for at least three months. Additionally, Apple employees can only take advantage of this offer every three years.

Besides this new discount program Apple employees will also be getting a nice raise within the coming weeks. Apparently, starting now retail stores will be rewarding employees with a raise of around 30% whatever the employees current salary was. This seems to be on average about another $2 to $4. This raise is based around store performance and also the performance of the individuals within each store.
