Amazon Drops The Price Of Apple TV And Calls It The 2010 Model

Amazon has lowered the price of the current generation Apple TV from 99$ down to 89$. While this isn’t a large mark down by any measurement, the interesting part behind it is the “2010″ that follows the model number now.

As you can see in brackets is a “2010″ possibly signifying that there is a new 2011 or 2012 model waiting for us around the corner. Even if there is a new one about to be released the changes in it are most likely not overly impressive, slap an A5 processor in it, probably smaller (as Apple loves small things), and addition of more native apps. Nonetheless, 10$ saved is 10$ in the pocket, so head on over and pick this up while their stock remains.
