Microsoft Back In The Spotlight Today To Offer A Sneak Peek Of The Future Of Windows Phone

A couple days ago Microsoft unveiled their own brand new tablet which they have called Surface. The Surface tablet is actually quite impressive and is definitely unique from existing tablets in the market today (watch the full break-down of Surface).

According to Engadget, it looks like Microsoft isn’t ready to get out of the spotlight just yet though. You see, yesterday Microsoft sent Engadget an invitation to another event where Microsoft will be offering a sneak peek of the future of Windows Phone.

Windows Phone Summit

At this time no one knows whether this will be simply a software announcement for the Windows phone, similarly to how Apple unveiled iOS 6, or if Microsoft may unveil its plans to create its own Windows phone. Due to Microsoft actually developing their own tablet, this could be a real possibility.

Microsoft’s Windows Phone Summit is set to start at 9AM pacific time, and like always we will keep you guys in the loop with what happens. What do you think Microsoft plans to talk about?
