This is just a quick heads up for all of you users who have an jailbroken Apple TV 2G. Apple will be pushing the iOS4.2.1 firmware today for your iTV, and it is important that if you have your Apple TV 2G jailbroken, you DO NOT update to this new firmware. The only noticeable change in this new iOS4.2.1 firmware for the Apple TV 2G, is a new voice over support for users who are  blind. So if you are not blind, then this firmware update will not do you much good anyways. We will keep you updated, if the Dev-Team release a jailbreak for the Apple TV 2G iOS4.2.1 firmware.

Until then, please ensure that you save your Apple TV 2G’s SHSH blobs using a tool such as tinyumbrella. Stay tuned for more updates…
