    Lol, that would be old school if anyone is running FW 1.x.x on an iPhone. This makes me wonder about my iPhone 1G 16GB and the FW it's running… I'm guessing FW 2.x.x :P

    i hv downloaded the 3.1.3 (3GS): iPhone2,1_3.1.3_7E18_Restore.ipsw and 4.0.1 (3GS): iPhone2,1_4.0.1_8A306_Restore.ipsw. but after i unzip the file, i cant find icon like above…can any tell me what's going on? tks

    u have to right click and rename to ipsw ,,,,only rename the zip part not any more then when u change it it gose to the icon like above …….

    That error means you don’t have your SHSH’s saved for 3.1.2. (I think)

    Oops, forgot to mention..I have a 3gs firmware 4.1
    Every time I click on the downloaded file itunes pops up and that’s where I’m lost..lol

    What firmware are you trying to downgrade to, and why? New jailbreak for 4.1 on 3GS, should be out on Monday.

    You may want to specify that the second section is for iPod restore links. I only started reading the list half-way down, saw 3G and assumed that section was for iPhones.
