With a recent survey conducted by a company called Nielsen, we can now safely say that the iPhone is not only the most popular, but the most desired smartphone in the U.S. While this probably doesn’t come as that much of a surprise, the really interesting facts are yet to come. You see the iPhone only won the most  popular smartphone OS by .5%… who was just behind the iPhone? I’m sure you guessed it, Apple’s pal Android. Who was behind Android, yep you guessed it again RIM (aka blackberry). With these results we can see that the iPhone still has dominance in the smartphone market, but the question is for how much longer?

One last interesting fact  presented by the Nielsen company was that men are actually more likely to choose an android Smartphone, while women are more likely to choose an iPhone. What are your thoughts on the Nielsen companies survey results?
