There has been a new account started on Twitter with the name @georgehotz. As you may know this is geohot’s real name. The original iPhone unlocker left the jailbreak scene earlier this month. This new account seemed to be George getting back on Twitter, but it has turned out to be a parody account.

The account started out as private, and then eventually went public, making people think they were following the actual geohot. I started following, after realizing it was a fake. It is still fun to read the tweets, and more fun to read tweets from others asking for jailbreak info. Here’s just a segment of the timeline:

Although this account is good to follow, fo a laugh, don’t expect any new “ra1n” jailbreak to come out. This “georgehotz” may retweet some info about the next comex/iPhone Dev Team release, but there is no new jailbreak coming from geohot.
