Apple Has Released iOS 4.1 Beta 2 To Developers!

On July 27, 2010, by Jaden

Just a quick update for everyone, Apple just release the iOS4.1 Beta 2 firmware to developers. There hasn’t been much added to this new beta, except for some proximity sensor fixes and GKvoice; which is VoIP functionality for games. There is no point in trying to upgrade your iDevice to this beta firmware as it contains no major updates to the OS. It is also not certain that this new firmware can be jailbroken/unlocked.

This new firmware will be available for almost all devices 2nd generation and later, and will hopefully prevent the glitch where in certain situations the iPhone randomly hung up and dropped calls. Do You have any thoughts on iOS 4.1 Beta 2?

My 3gs is pretty much unusable since i updated to 4.0.1. I hope this new beta fixes the ‘no service’ and dropped calls issue. Otherwise i’m returning my phone and getting away from iPhones for good.

yeah I have heard 3gs users are having troubles, hopefully this firmware will fix your problems!
