The Windows Release of the Untethered iOS 4.2.1 Jailbreak Coming Soon! [RedSn0w Beta]

A few days ago we told you that the Dev-Team were going to port the Jailbreak Monte untethered exploit to use iOS 4.1 blobs, instead of iOS 4.2b3 blobs (developer only blobs). It appears (thanks to a tweet) as if they are actively working on this as we speak, and will be releasing a beta version of the jailbreak monte redsn0w for windows. Just like how the Dev-Team initially did beta testing for the MAC untethered version of RedSn0w, I assume they will follow a similar pattern for this upcoming release of the windows untethered beta. Meaning that there will probably be many bugs to start off with. Regardless it is good to see that soon windows users will finally be able to jailbreak the iOS 4.2.1 firmware untethered.

The untethered iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak has been postponed for quite some time now, do you think this untethered version of redsn0w will actually be released soon?

    We have been hearing soon for awhile now. Soon GreenPois0n will be released, soon jailbreak monte will be released, yes this tweet confirms that jailbreak monte will be coming to windows and most likely by the tone of the tweet soon, but I was asking for some other opinions..

    @Seth…HAHA Classic!

    In other news….who cares! Well for me at least, since I don’t have any blobs saved for 4.1 as my iPhone was replaced just a couple of weeks ago.

    All I have to say is….go GreenPois0n go!! Once released my 4.2.1 blob only brothers shall rejoice!

    I dislike redsn0w, it reminds me of the 2G jailbreaking days, where you had to enter commands to tether it…
