With Apple unveiling the next generation iPad only 4 days ago they have already received massive amounts of pre-orders. In fact, shipping dates for the new iPad have been facing delays all of the world with up to a three week delivery delay across most of Europe and Japan.

The New iPad

With all of this demand for the new iPad apparently an Apple representative told CNET the customer response to the new iPad has been off the charts.

Customer response to the new iPad has been off the charts and the quantity available for pre-order has been purchased. Customers can continue to order online and receive an estimated delivery date. Beginning Friday, March 16, the new iPad will be available for purchase at Apple’s retail stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers on a first come, first-served basis.

It is no wonder why however that customers seem to be taking such a liking to the new iPad. It is a significant upgrade over the iPad 2 featuring a Retina screen, A5X dual-core processor, iSight camera and even quad-core graphics.
