If this sounds like you, or you are currently stuck at the Apple Logo after using JailbreakMe 3.0 you will be glad to know Comex has posted instructions on how to fix this error.
If you would prefer to preserve your Jailbreak and would rather not have to restore you Verizon iPhone 4 after being stuck at the Apple Logo after using JailbreakMe 3.0. You can follow the steps below to fix your Verizon iPhone 4.
Step 1) – The first thing you are going to need to do is download RedSn0w 0.9.6rc19 to your desktop computer. You can click here for the download links to RedSn0w 0.9.6rc19. Once you download RedSn0w 0.9.6rc19 you will also need to download a custom bundle (the Jailbreak fix) for your Verizon iPhone 4 depending on what firmware version you are running: 4.2.6 / 4.2.7 / 4.2.8
Step 2) - Now you will need to launch RedSn0w and then select your firmware file (not the custom bundle you downloaded prior). If you need to download the firmware file for your Verizon iPhone 4 you can click here. Once you select your firmware version you are currently running on your Verizon iPhone 4 you will need to check the Custom Bundle Option and then select the custom bundle (the Jailbreak Fix) you downloaded prior.
Step 3) – Once you select the custom bundle you will simply need to continue following RedSn0w’s instructions. If it works correctly, after the Re-Jailbreaking process is complete, your Verizon iPhone 4 should boot normally. You should have now fixed the Verizon iPhone 4 stuck at Apple logo bug. Additionally Comex has mentioned “there is a separate bug where choosing “Re-jailbreak” would cause a device to be unable to boot. If you have this issue and don’t want to restore, contact me.”
