iBlank is a simple app for the iPad which allows you to create unlimited amount of blank transparent icons on the SpringBoard, allowing you to customize the look of a theme.

How to create icon:

  • Launch iBlank.app
  • Select the amount of blank icons (1-20)
  • A pop-up will say “Creating iBlanks Please Wait”
  • Once it’s done creating, another pop-up will say “iBlank # iBlanks successfully created”
  • Press ok, push the home button, and the iPad will re-spring
  • Click and hold any icon to activate the icons to “wiggle” with the “x”, so you see the new icon transparent. (To delete icon, do the same step but press “x”)

When using iBlank on the iPad, you will need to activate the WinterBoard theme called: Remove iPad Icon Shadows (iBlank). This removes the drop shadow that the iPad adds to icons.
