It was originally rumored that Apple could also unveil the new iPads alongside both the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c at its September 10th keynote, but it makes sense that Apple chose to make it strictly iPhone centered.
With two events Apple gets double the media exposure it would from combining it all into one big keynote. Considering the Holiday season is right around the corner it can’t be long before Apple hosts its second keynote though and according to the French Apple-blog MacGeneration, Apple will host an iPad focussed event on Tuesday, October 15th, 2013.
Before we go any further though it is worth noting that the website has gotten some rumors right in the past, but it has also been wrong on many occasions.
With that said it was stated that at this event Apple would be unveiling the iPad 5, iPad Mini 2 and updated Macs with new Haswell processors. As for iPads it is expected that the iPad 5 will have a slimmer design and the iPad Mini 2 will come with a Retina display.
Considering Apple also hosted an event in October last year to announce iPads and Macs this makes sense, but you could technically guess any Tuesday in October after the 8th and not be far off so this could very well just be link bait.
