If you’re a fan of the popular Redbox DVD rental service, you probably already know that the company has jumped into the video game rental market as well. It recently decided to take the plunge and start offering video games to its customers, and in just a short time, it has already had a great response from the public.

As you can see, it looks like Redbox is quite popular among Xbox gamers as 42% of all games rented were Xbox 360 games. Nintendo’s Wii came in at second place with 33% and PS3 right behind it with a low 25%.

Redbox has become a huge success with its movie rentals so it’ll be interesting to see how well it does with video games in the future. It will have quite a dominance if games work out as well as videos did for the company.
