Halo 4, the latest in the Halo franchise, was released on November 6th for the Xbox 360 by Microsoft Studios and 343 Industries. This is the first Halo game to be developed by 343 Industries, whereas the previous ones were by Bungie. Thanks to the millions of fans worldwide who helped make this another record-breaking launch for the ‘Halo’ franchise, ‘Halo 4’ is kicking off a strong holiday season and has become the must-have blockbuster experience of the year.”
The overall sales of all the titles in the Halo series has now hit the $3.38 Billion mark. Halo 4 saw over 4 million players in the first five days, who spent about 31.4 million hours playing the game. Thanks to Halo 4, the total number of gameplay hours for the Halo franchise has crossed the 5 billion mark as well. So, have you purchased Halo 4 yet?
