You might remember that Grant Paul–also known as Chpwn to the hacking community–updated his infiniapps lineup of paid tweaks back in December. The 2.0 update for Infinidock, Infiniboard, and Infinifolders included support for iOS 6, improved performance, and a removal of the icon cap–allowing for the tweaks to truly handle an infinite number of apps.
Infiniboard received another update today. Infiniboard is the tweak that reconfigures the SpringBoard to arrange icons as a scrolling list, instead of limiting SpringBoard pages to 12 icons. As you might expect, Infiniboard conflicted with other SpringBoard tweaks like Iconoclasm (for custom icon arrangements on the SpringBoard) and OverBoard (a tweak that allows users to see all their icons on one screen). With the update installed, you no longer have to decide between Infiniboard, Iconoclasm, and OverBoard.
Infiniboard can be found in the BigBoss repository on Cydia for $0.99, though if you’ve already bought the tweak the v2.0.2 update is free. According to Grant Paul, there’s are other improvements in store for the next release of Infiniboard–which is already a great tweak in its own right. Gridlock isn’t currently supported, but in a twitter post Grant Paul said it’s also in the works.
While the update brings essential compatibility to Infiniboard, there has been a couple issues reported on Twitter. If you notice anything odd, the best method for giving feedback to the developer is to send an email through Cydia.
