I’m still getting the dependency message, after it says “Compatible with your OS.”. What let me install on iOS 4.2.1.

Me too. What to do with that?

I installed DisplayOut on my iphone 4 and I am using an apple VGA cable to display to connect it an external monitor. The external monitor goes into a loop where it displays the iphone screen for a second then goes blank then re displays the iphone screen. This continuous indefinitely or the external screen stops displaying the iphone screen. There are several similar descriptions of this problem on the web but I have seen no resolution.
