Cydia Tweak: Disable Multitasking Will Disable Multitasking On iPhone Via WinterBoard Activation

Lately, a few great new tweaks have been released in Cydia for iPhone and iPod Touch. Today we see a new tweak called Disable Multitasking which is similar to Disable Voice Control, a WinterBoard activated tweak, but disables multitasking on the iPhone 4.

How To Use Disable Multitasking

Step 1: Install tweak through Cydia.

Step 2: Launch Winterboard.app.

Step 3: Select “Disable Multitasking”.

Step 4: Repsring iDevice.

Disable Multitasking is available in Cydia via ModMyi repository for free.

My question is why would you want to disable it? im open to the possibility but i cant see the benefit. Having it disabled is there a speed increase? perhaps a little easier on the battery? interesting…

i didabled it and use backgrounder, which i am used to with my ipad, more logical to me, long home press to quit the app if i want.

BTW, springboard disable voice control and springboard disable multitasking dont seem to work together, its one or the other at the moment

It’s not working for me. I still am able to get multitasking with two presses on the home button. What’s up with this?

you would disable it because it takes up too much process memory to multitask thererfore it will auto close or auto shut some of your programs……….. which is annoying ass fuck
