Final Fantasy V Coming To The Japan App Store Later This Month, International Release To Follow
Square Enix took a lot of criticism in the January for release Final Fantasy All The Bravest, as they dumbed the game down and essentially made it so you had to make in-app purchases to complete it, even though you had to still purchase the game anyways.
It is not certain whether or not Square Enix plans to continue with this pricing structure, but the Japanese company definitely isn’t slowing down with releases. All the way back in December Square Enix released a trailer for Final Fantasy IV, and for those that have good memory you will realize in this trailer Final Fantasy V was also hinted.

JoyStiq is now reporting that Final Fantasy V will be available to download from the Japanese App Store before the end of this month. As expected, the game will feature improved visuals and touchscreen controls.
Although there’s no word yet on an international release, as previous entries have had same-day worldwide releases, it’s not unlikely we’ll see Final Fantasy V hit the North American App Store by the end of the month. Square Enix would not comment however on when an international release would take place.
