Cydia Tweak: NoLockScreen

On October 5, 2010, by rorypiper

Have you ever thought that the lock screen on your iPhone didn’t need to be there? Well, a new tweak has popped up in Cydia today that gets rid of your lock screen. “NoLockScreen” bypasses the lock screen when you hit the home or power button, and takes you right to your home screen. You can enable/disable it from the Settings app, and you can uninstall at any time.

Here’s a quick demo:

NoLockScreen is a cool tweak, but if you’re concerned about security, this may not be for you. If you use a passcode to get from the lock screen to the homescreen, you’ll want to stay away from this. This tweak is compatible with all iDevices on iOS 3.2 or higher, but on older devices you will see the lock screen for a split second, before getting to the home screen.

NoLockScreen is available in Cydia no, for free! - rorypiper

This works on all iOS from 3.0 and up. Using it on my iPhone 4, on iOS 4.0.2.
