Chrome For Android To Come Out Of Beta Soon
Google’s Chrome browser for Android was first released back in February on what was then the Android Market. The app, which is still in the beta phase, got its second update last week, bringing a number of stability improvements and new features. The app has gotten much better since it was first released and may actually be coming out of beta mode soon…
Shortly after the app’s last update, senior VP of Chrome and Apps Sunday Pichai said that the app would lose its beta tag “in a matter of weeks.” Pichai told CNET in an interview that their main goal is bringing a stable, bug-free experience to users, something that the team is currently working on now. The last update was the second version of the beta. Will the next update be the official app?
What do you think of the Chrome browser? Is it ready to come out of the beta mode or is there still work to be done?
