Apple has been introducing some kick ass products this event and now they are talking about iTunes 10 and a new social network called Ping. This new version of iTunes features some new ways to view and organize music, as well as some new minor features. The biggest thing happening to iTunes however, is the release of their new social network called Ping. Ping is facebook meets twitter, in a combination to help you discover everything around you; its a social network for music. This new social network is built into iTunes and you can “Follow your artists and friends to discover the music they’re talking about, listening to and downloading.”

You can set up your own profile, follow your friends and control privacy settings with east. Ping will revolutionize the way we connect with music. With Ping you can find out what is happening around you – concerts, new music releases and what your friends are doing. Ping is not just available on your computer, it’s available on your iPhone and iPod touch. It shows up right in the iTunes store. You push the button and you get the recent activity on your iDevice.
