Apple Has Banned JailbreakMe.com From All Apple Stores!
As I am sure you all know, the latest jailbreak is browser based. This meaning that it wouldn’t take Apple very long to figure out a way to prevent customers from jailbreaking their displayed iPhones. 9 to 5 Mac stated that when you visit to JailbreakMe.org from inside an Apple store, you will be redirected to Apple’s website. In order to actually accomplish this they are using a free service called openDNS, and this is what redirects all visits to JailbreakMe.com back to Apple.com.
This doesn’t mean that you will never be able to visit Jailbreakme.com from your home computer, but if you attempt to in an Apple store. You will be disappointed. I suppose it will only be a matter of time before Apple release a firmware update to patch up this latest jailbreak exploit.
