Samsung just held its Premiere event in London on June 20th. The Korean technology giant used the Earls Court Exhibition Centre to show off some of its new products, including the Galaxy S4 mini, the Galaxy NX, the Ativ Q and the Ativ Tab 3. Here’s a bit of detail on all four:
Second in the successful miniature budget series, the Galaxy S4 mini has a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, 4G connectivity, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a qHD of 960 x 540 pixels and 8 GB of internal storage with 1.5 GB of RAM. It’s also blessed with a 1900 mAh battery.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom is a 16-megapixel camera that enables users to take great photos thanks to its 10X optical zoom lens. Among its main features are “In Call Photo Share” that allows you to take pictures while speaking on the phone, and “Photo Suggest” that gives you suggestions of interesting things to photograph. Plus, the Galaxy S4 Zoom includes 24 Smart modes.
The Galaxy NX is a CSC (compact system camera) with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 4G, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity with interchangeable lenses. It includes a 1.6 GHz quad-core chipset and a 4.8-inch screen.
The Ativ Q is a tablet with Windows 8 and Android Jelly Bean, a 13.3-inch touchscreen, a qHD resolution of 3,200 x 1,800 pixels and 9 hours of battery with a single charge. It weighs 1.29kg and has a thickness of 13.9mm.
The slightly smaller Ativ Tab 3 is the thinnest Windows 8 tablet – 8.2mm thick –, weighing only 550g. It has a 10.1-inch screen, an Intel Atom Z2760 CPU and battery that lasts 8.5 hours on a single battery charge. It ships with the Microsoft Office suite.
