No Love For Adobe Flash On Ice Cream Sandwich Yet
Wanting to check out that awesome Flash-based website on your new Samsung Galaxy Nexus, well sadly you can’t….yet. It looks like Adobe Flash is not installed on the Galaxy Nexus nor is it available to download from the Android Market. As we know Adobe has pulled development for Flash on all mobile devices earlier this month.
For everyone out there thinking this is the end, don’t fret as Google has posted this regarding Flash on Ice Cream Sandwich:
Flash hasn’t been released for ICS yet so as far as we know, Adobe will support Flash for ICS.
So while we wait for Adobe to release an update for Flash that will support Ice Cream Sandwich enjoy all those HTML5 websites out there. While many people miss Flash enriched content on their mobile browsers, it is not the end of the world for the lucky people with a Galaxy Nexus. If the iPhone can do it, and be as popular as it is, I am sure Android will serve the small amount of time before we receive the update.
