Verizon’s Motorla DROID RAZR May Get Android 4.0 On June 12
Although I’m an iOS kinda’ guy, I admit that Android definitely has its pros. But perhaps one of my biggest grudges with the platform is the fact that manufacturers take so long to roll out software updates. While Android 4.0 has been out for several months now, only around 7% of the total Android population is currently using it. Tons of different Android smartphones are still waiting to receive the latest update.
One phone in the same case is the Motorola DROID RAZR. Owners have been patiently waiting for the software but have been left in the dark. However, CNET may have some hope for all of you out there currently using Verizon’s network. According to a source from Verizon, Motorola DROID RAZR users may actually get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on or around June 12th.
The reason behind the delay of the update is supposedly to do changing the version from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4. Nonetheless, we’re hoping this latest rumors holds some truth to it as users have waited long enough.
