HTC Could Release A Galaxy Note-Like Smartphone With 5-Inch HD Display And Beats Audio Technology
When Samsung first released the Galaxy Note it was met with some serious criticism, and got the name of a phablet. Regardless of this initial criticism the Galaxy Note it has gone on to be an extremely popular smartphone, with a second generation version coming soon.
There has been some chatter around the Internet that HTC would be releasing an Android device to compete with the Galaxy Note. It looks like The Verge could have stumbled upon the images to prove such a theory, or at least add some more fuel to the fire. Apparently these images come from a forum by the name of Phone Forum HK, but the thread has been deleted.

As you can see the alleged HTC phone features red accents, a Beats Audio logo and some pretty impressive specs if the previous HTC6435LVW benchmarks are to be believed – a 5-inch 1080p 1794 x 1080 display and a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm CPU. The only disappointing thing is the proposed device is set to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, not Jelly Bean.

Although there is no conclusive proof that HTC is actually planing to release this device, it could certainly be something for HTC fans to look forward to. With a HD screen, Beats Audio technology and a powerful processor, what is there not to like about the device?
