Watch Google’s First TV Ad For The Nexus 7 Tablet, Titled ‘Camping’
Google’s first television ad for its tablet, the Nexus 7 is out and has been uploaded on YouTube. The Nexus 7 is a Wi-Fi only tablet, has a 7 inch display, amazing hardware, good build quality and runs on the fastest and latest version of Android, Jelly Bean. Google has received an amazing response for the tablet and it has been selling like hotcakes across retail chains.

It’s a really good tablet device for the price it’s being offered at, but it is still not really an iPad competitor. The new television ad titled ‘Camping’ is about a father and son who, with the help of the Nexus 7, get some bonding done while camping outdoors. At first you may wonder how a Wi-Fi tablet can access the internet out in the jungle. Well, a majority of the time the father and son use the tablet to do all sorts of things that does not require an active internet connection, like lighting the way. I wouldn’t rely on a tablet for lighting my path through a jungle though, a torch would have been much better. Anyway, here’s the commercial, focusing more on the nature and the father and the son, than the tablet itself.
So, now you know how they were able to get access to internet in the forest. They must have a really strong Wi-Fi router in the house! What did you think of the ad and the Nexus 7 tablet in the outdoors?
