Facebook Home Has Just Been Released On The Google Play Store, Download It Now For Your Android Smartphone

Facebook Home was announced on April 4th by Mark Zuckerberg and essentially what it is, is software that replaces the lockscreen and homescreen of your Android smartphone to always ensure you are in the loop of what’s going on with your friends. Facebook Home has really three key functionalities and this includes Cover Feed, Chat Heads and Notifications.

With Cover feed, as soon as you wake your phone you will see your News Feed and you will have the ability to easily interact with status updates, photos etc. With Chat Heads you will receive texts and Facebook Messages in the same spot and be able to reply to them within any application on your Android smartphone. As for notifications, they will appear right on your homescreen and will stick around until you need them. With Facebook Home installed you will not lose the ability to launch other applications or do Android-specific tasks either, you can easily bring up the app launcher anytime with a simple gesture.
