Mophie has been producing battery cases for the iPhone for quite some time now. Today, the company has announced a new case for the iPhone 5, called the Juice Pack Air. Mophie produces some of the best and most reliable battery packs for the iPhone and the new one is just as elegant and reliable.

The Mophie Juice Pack Air packs a 1700 mAh battery that will easily provide an extra day of battery for the iPhone 5. According to Mophie, you will get up to 10 hours of additional talk time, 8 hours of Internet use on 3G, 11 hours on Wi-Fi, 40 hours of music and 10 hours of video. That’s a lot of extra battery life and the Juice Pack does all that without adding too much thickness. However, it will make your iPhone 5 even longer. Ross Howe, VP of Marketing at Mophie stated:

You can charge both the Juice Pack and your iPhone using the micro-USB port on the Juice Pack. Apparently, due to the design of the case, Mophie says that you will also get enhanced sound. A switch on the back lets you turn on the Juice Pack Air only when needed. There’s also an LED indicator to tell you how much charge your Juice Pack Air has.
